Watch Repair Warranty
Please take the time to read our Watch Repair Warranty carefully before sending off your watch to us to undertake any work.
Throughout this document, the term “item” refers to any watch, service or part(s) that are covered by our warranty from us conducting services on your behalf. “PWR” refers to Precision Watch Repairs, the business, website, representatives, and any other third party used in relation to the completion of repairs on your watch.
Terms of Warranty
Our warranty covers your “item” against any parts supplied, defective repair or workmanship for a period of up to 12 months from the date of which the work was completed not the date of dispatch or when your “item” is received.
What Isn’t Covered?
- Day to day damage from wear and tear to bracelets, crystals/glasses, batteries, shock, magnetism, exposure to excessive temperature, exposure to water outside of watch water resistance rating/guidance are not covered by this warranty. Nor is improper or inadequate use of the watch.
- Batteries are not guaranteed to fix a stopped watch. If the watch has stopped it may also require a service. The previous battery price will be taken off of a new service bill, if carried out within 11 months of the former.
- Warranty provided on watch resealing is subject to an inspection at our workshop.
- Any additional services or repairs that are necessary during repair from damage not covered by warranty will be estimated and down to the customer to cover and not the responsibility of PWR.
Your Conditions
To uphold this warranty, you must follow the following conditions. “PWR” cannot honour any claim if you do not meet the requirements below. These conditions do not affect your standard statutory rights as a consumer.
- The item must not be opened, repaired, inspected, assessed or had any additional work undertaken whatsoever by any other person or company in order for the PWR warranty to stand
- You are required to notify PWR of any defect or malfunction of your item via email including your contact details, our job number, invoice number and any further information you believe is relevant.
- If you post negative feedback or review on Google, Trustpilot, Bing, Social Media or any similar platforms before notifying PWR in writing of any dissatisfaction with our service or quality of work you must give PWR 21 days to respond, rectify any issue, fault or malfunction under the terms of this agreement. Failure to do so will make this guarantee null and void and we will be unable to help you.
